Coach Gilmer is a National Board Certified Teacher who has 26 years of experience.  He has coached and taught at Ridge View for 18 years.  He played college basketball and golf at Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana where he was an NAIA Academic All-American. He has been a successful coach in a variety of sports including Varsity Boys Basketball, Girls and Boys Cross Country, Girls Track, JV Baseball, and Strength Coach.  Coach Gilmer has been the Boys Golf Coach for 10 years and loves coaching golf because it is a lifetime sport that teaches life-lessons. Coach Gilmer is also the FCA Huddle Coach at Ridge View.
