Coach Eure is a former two sport Spring Valley High graduate, where he played football and was a 2x All State track athlete.  He went on to run track collegiately at Clemson University.  Coach Eure is going into his 9th year as the girls Head Coach with over 12 years of coaching experience.  Coach Eure has his USATF Level 2 certification in Sprints/Hurdles & Relays.  Over those years he has coached 29 Region champions, 12 State Champions, 14 All Americans and has won 2 State Championships (2018 & 2023).  He was named NHFS SC 2018 Coach of the Year & SCTCCCA 4A Coach of the Year for 2018 & 2023.  His coaching philosophy is geared towards preparing athletes for the next level, linking athletics to everyday life lessons.  One of his favorite quotes is “Most people fail because they give up what they want most for what they want now”.
