Dr. Treva Anderson

Dr. Treva Anderson is an expert in the field of sport psychology with over 18 years of experience helping athletes and individuals develop the mental toughness and resilience to achieve their goals. She is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) and has worked with a wide range of clients, from professional athletes to high school students to military personnel.

Dr. Anderson grew up in Florida and chose to attend Florida State University, earning her undergraduate degree in Psychology and a graduate degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. To ensure that she obtained as much knowledge as possible to help her future clientele, she knew that a doctorate degree would provide the education required to have the most impact on others. Dr. Anderson received her PhD in Sport and Exercise Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Since 2007, Dr. Anderson has served as a Performance Expert at Fort Jackson, where she provides training and guidance to the military and senior leaders on how to develop mental toughness and resilience. She is also an adjunct instructor at Columbia College, where she teaches graduate classes in sport psychology for coaches, performance enhancement and research methodology. She has been helping the coaches and athletes at Ridge View High School since 2017.

Dr. Anderson is passionate about helping people reach their full potential. She believes that everyone has the ability to achieve their goals, and she is dedicated to helping her clients develop the mental skills they need to succeed.
