Coach Skottowe Fox comes to Ridge View with a wealth of experience coaching boys’ and men’s soccer at multiple levels of competitive play in the United States. He has previously coached at the high school, club, and collegiate levels and currently also leads an Under-19 boys’ team at South Carolina United Football Club.

Originally from Conway, South Carolina, Coach Fox discovered his passion for coaching at a young age and sought every opportunity to deepen his knowledge and appreciation for the game. After graduating from the University of South Carolina, he traveled to Argentina, then briefly returned to Conway to coach his high school alma mater before pursuing a variety of soccer coaching licenses and certifications.

Following his time in Conway, Coach Fox moved to Sumter, where he worked with a local club and was eventually named Head Men’s Soccer Coach at the University of South Carolina Sumter. There, he led the Fire Ants at the Division I level of junior college athletics. During his tenure at USC Sumter and now with South Carolina United, Coach Fox has built a proven track record of developing student-athletes to compete at the NCAA level, with several former players now coaching in the NCAA ranks themselves.

Coach Fox has also represented the state of South Carolina as a Head Coach in the Olympic Development Program and holds numerous professional memberships in soccer organizations both in the U.S. and abroad. He currently holds a D License through the United States Soccer Federation, along with several other coaching certifications.

Now at Ridge View, Coach Fox is eager to lead the Blazers boys’ soccer program with passion, energy, and a commitment to building a team of accomplished young men, both on and off the field.
