Coach Stackhouse has served as the head girls Cross Country and a Track & Field Assistant at Ridge View for the past 5 years.  He is a native of Fayetteville, NC and graduated from South Carolina State University with a BS in Child Development, where he was a member of the Honors College and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity in which he served as the Director of Educational Activities.

While at SC State, Coach Stackhouse was an integral part of the distance running program, being the lead distance runner during his tenure at the University while also serving as a voice off the track in his capacity as the team’s representative for SAAC (Student Athletic Advisory Committee) as it’s President.

He was the Team Captain his last 2 Years at State and also achieved the following:

Former Walk On to Scholarship, Most Improved (2016), Multiple Athlete of the Week Winner

Distance MVP (2017), 12x All Academic Team (4XC, 4IN, 4OUT)

Top five (#2) In 5K School History, Two Mile School Record Holder
