On Tuesday, April 1, 2025 The Ridge View Boys Golf Team successfully hosted the Sixth Annual Blazer Open Boys Golf Tournament. Twenty One teams and 105 golfers competed in the event. Senior Jaxson Martino led the Blazers shooting a 93. His highlight came on the 14th hole where he birdied Sophomore Kale Rakes shot a career best 105. His highlight came on the 8th hole where he had his first career par. Sophomore John Jackson Jr. finished with a 107 and Freshman Chandler Jones shot a career low 116 to help the Blazers finish 7th as a team in the Purple Division. The entire team did a fantastic job helping run the tournament and it was a great learning experience for the young Blazer Team. Head Coach Seth J. Gilmer and Assistant Coach Parker White are very excited about the future of the team!
