Ridge View Opens up the season this weekend @ Eye Opener!
On the girls side they are lead by China Davis, Aubree Howell ,and Genesis Merling
On the Boys side they are lead by Orin Striggles, Nasir Aiken, and Corell Johnson.
“This weekend is about showing the depth of the girls program that we’ve built over the last couple years . We aren’t running any of the girls that have participated in the state meet the last two years , however i am confident in the group I’m sending out there. China has been working extremely hard this summer , and Aubree & Genesis lead the group of talented freshman that we have this year . With 53 girls , we’re always going to have a different lineup for these regular season events, but i believe we will remain competitive no matter which set of girls run.” - Coach Stackhouse III
“ Everything this year has to go through the big 3 of Orin , Nasir , & Corell. For us to reach our potential as a team, all 3 must continue their development and take that next step. All 3 are coming off of winning a state championship in the spring with track , so that winning culture will shine in everything they do going forward.” - Coach Charles Proctor
